TBCCC was created to address the gap in care for many cleft patients.  We are a non-profit team, and one of the only cleft teams that treats patients from birth well into adulthood (25+). We believe that making a difference lasts a lifetime.

Our Care

We accept most major medical insurance plans and no cleft patient will be denied care because of lack of insurance or ability to pay.

About TBCCC

Treating birth defects involving cleft lip, cleft palate, and other craniofacial anomalies requires the expertise of specialists from a variety of medical fields. Depending upon the child’s specific needs, his or her care team may include specialists from surgery, orthodontics,  pediatric medicine, dentistry, audiology, and speech and language pathology, neurosurgery —just to name a few.  This type of multidisciplinary approach is recommended by the American Cleft Palate Association (ACPA) as the gold standard for treating patients with various cleft and craniofacial conditions.

Our Team

Tampa Bay Cleft and Craniofacial Center provides a specialized, interdisciplinary and family-centered approach to treat patients with facial differences. We are committed to treating children and adults with the highest compassion. We provide care and support for you throughout the entire process. We are one of the only teams in the country to see patients through adulthood. We are proud to recognize and practice patient management of all ages.

Tampa Bay Cleft and Craniofacial Center consists of experienced, pioneering specialists in their respective fields. The TBCCC is listed as an ACPA Approved Team by the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Assoication (ACPA).  Our team is from various backgrounds, some work for Baycare, TGH, Adventhealth, USF, and some are in private practice. We look beyond our differences and come together, volunteering our time to this non-profit organization to make a difference in the world. One smile at a time.
